75% of the workforce should simply resign, no better way to vote than with your feet or wallet, IMO.

You never know where something will take you. I’ve had a 3d printer for the past 5 years, but connected a few dots earlier this year and have been paying all my bills with a small business built around a very niche item I design and sell.

KDE Connect should do this, and works extremely well on Android with Linux, but is also cross platform.

I hate these non-answer answers, but anyway. I would consider moving before getting a second job which saps even more of your finite time. I have never regretted moving to a completely new place, but keep in mind, "wherever you go, the

Hot take, but if people making the personal decision to abstain from drinking what is essentially poison, causes society to collapse, things are irreversibly broken, IMO.

This looks like a great option similar to LittleSnitch (or ZoneAlarm) for being able to selectively deny apps access to network, in an ad-hoc manner, on mobile devices. For what it's worth, GrapheneOS has a network-level permission whi

This isn't surprising, but it's unfortunate -- Apple still hasn't even opened up CoreNFC on the Watch. I have a custom app for my business which uses NFC, and it's a bummer that iPads, and just about no modern Android ta

I completely agree, but I think it's worth giving up that access and control in the name of stronger security on my primary device. Magisk and other tools are a prime target. A LOT of the concerns I had with losing control can be worke

I hate to come across as someone who just responds with the equivalent of "Simpsons did it", but GrapheneOS has mitigated this for quite some time. The main AOSP derivatives, including LineageOS don't address it at all.

Beeper is working on it. We'll see how it turns out. Matrix Bridges might also be a good option.

No, AOSP Messages does not support RCS. It seems Google is going to let it die to move people to Google Messages.

It was obvious this was going to happen when they refused to implement RCS. So instead of working on RCS, we got mobilecoin, stickers, gif search, and now yank out legacy SMS support so more "features" can be developed? As an ear

Maybe my app is too simple, but I have had no issues with developing for, submitting, and shipping downloads (with infrequent updates) in the Apple app store. Honestly, the major annoyance is paying $120/year while Google only charges

Honestly, I had never even considered that and now I feel silly! We already had the scanner+printer cause my partner works remotely, and I just assumed the cost for toner and A4 was cheaper than thermal label.

This option should allow you to adjust the volume on your peripheral AND your device, instead of only adjusting it on the device which may max out via software. This is something I set religiously on all the Android devices I use for audio-

If Apple would just not go full Apple on somethings, like allowing interop Qi standard and reverse wireless charging, you could just top it off from your iPhone (or Android or wireless charger).
