Interesting I wasn't aware of this system to side-car content. I will definitely check. But it makes storing long logs and content in DB an even better choice. (unless you need a CDN ofc)

Ah, my apologies then. I felt like it was somehow tied to Edge, I should have dug deeper.

Yes same, the google blue + the crispy image, it does reminds me of the old days. However, I feel like this site was published for the survey more than anything else.

So random (but useful). With this name I was expecting an AI Model. Is there a theory that at some point we will have an API for every environmental event?

Very interesting. I wonder how many countries will allow automated air balloons like this, this can definitely be a hazard or at risk of vandalism.

I was hoping to discover what made Gemini so good, but it's an article about GPU disparity. Interesting nonetheless but a bit click-baity.

That's very nice to hear, thanks! (even though I wish there was some breaking changes to be able to fix some of nasty bugs that have been there for years ahah)

That's great news. I wonder what will happen to ongoing roadmap and all the bug/feature requests that were pending. I fear that sooner or later the APIs will become non-compatible so the only "good move" would be to jump

Reminds me of this video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ge_j31Yx_yk explaining the Terrel rotation (and other effects) in a video game engine.

I don't have the knowledge to fully understand this article but recently saw this video (from B1M) that does a great job at explaining what is Green hydrogen and why it matters. But most importantly why it's almost impossible to d

Translation/Internationalisation is one of the hardest problem that is not going to be solved by technology only. RTL, plural depending on the number, non-latin char behavior, font issues, UI broken by longer translation, context depen

unfortunately it's mandatory to install devdeps to build the source code (typescript, webpack, esbuild, etc.) I just wish there was a buildDeps to avoid this confusion

adding min/max to a language made 10 years ago is kinda crazy when you think about it. Really looking log/slog package, it seems neat and was deeply needed.

Ah yes I didn't explain this part, it's just an habit. It allows to modify the chained scripts without loosing the Git history, see this best practice guide https://github.com/projectatomic/container-best-pra

Thanks. 1. That's interesting, I actually never thought about that. It could work in practice and could even be parallelised! It would just download some, or most, packages twice. I'll test that, thanks. 2. Indeed, it's easie

Thanks for the feedback, I actually don't use Docker images locally (except for services), I never found it particularly easy to do especially with hot-reload, node_modules, etc. I wish in 2023 we had the tools to have a unified local

In my 10 years of using Git I think I have used mostly these commands: "git pull --rebase", "git add -p", "git commit -m" and "git push" Everything else can be googled/learned when needed. I thi

Very nice! Congrats on launching it's very well made, love it. When I placed a circle I immediately pressed control to keep the ratio of the object -- photoshop reflex ahah -- it would be nice to have a similar UX.

Very well done! Is there any plan to have some kind of "read-only" view or play mode or history? Right now it's a bit risky to create a nice sheet and give it to others because they will change the value forever without warni

It's a requirement in France when company loose a trial that users should be aware of (e.g: privacy, etc.). It's not perfect and maybe not immune to "trolling" but it's efficient Like this: https://www.nu

Double penalties. You are poor so you don't get good care and you also get to be a cobaye for a tech that can randomly (wrongly) guess your health problems.

It is still a 404. You can serve a body with a 404, user will see the appropriate message and robot can safely ignore this page until further notice. Search engine will often retry 404 later and slowly reduce crawling if it stays not found.
