How are gmail, maps and chrome not profitable? It's a gold mine for data mining. As long as personally identifiable data is out of public's reach, Google is free to trace part of people's life and sell anonymized data to ad t

Thanks for the tip, however put that in [mysql] section or otherwise you'll ruin mysqldump command not recognizing that option.

I'm beginning to think this is a flaw in SQL. It's so easy to bust the entire table. Could've had something like 'UPDATE ALL' required for queries without filtering.

You could've placed your content on a more known domain than random looking one for 5.7 like Medium. People have "mind score" for domains and funny looking ones aren't exactly easy to go to.

It's good that MySQL gets better because I'm tied to it since Sequel Pro is the best database browser there is and it only supports MySQL. Datagrip has that Java kind of non-nativeness (weird scrolling and the looks) and it's

Surprising you type focused, which I agree with the content well, after 16 hours of work but it would be nice to see your table setup in picture.

Win 3.1 was already after average families figured its usefulness with usable GUI for moms. Blockchain is earlier than that. It's still trying to figure out how useful it can be.

Just use 'value'. Only you can be sure of shortened words even if it looks obvious. Not good in a team. I never understood people who shorten words to make the program look cryptic. Maybe it was someone who taught you how to progr

A developer should feel a little responsible about the product if it has a large amount of users... It's simply gaining bad reputation for the developer with such news because of saving $100 a year. If the developers are all students o

While users could help financially, a project should not delegate the responsibility of security down to users until they explicitly donate for that especially for a project of this amount of user base.

You need to download the runtime at least once. If that 50MB is a problem, you can't use it in the first place. Who likes to download Java on desktop anyway? It's absolutely the wrong way to distribute Electron apps. It's so

Having have to debug for every platform's web engine isn't worth it. 100MB sounds stupid but it's stupider to lose the cross platform compatibility when 100MB of space isn't really much on modern systems.
