This. I absolutely cannot see why people still recommend IRC today for work use. It can pretty much only do text for the moment you're online and no we don't have time (money) to hack IRC to meet our needs.

Servers seem solid and there's also ejabberd but what about clients? I want clients that are stable, cross platform and does push notification and last time I checked, there were none. Also, I don't like the fact that it's pe

I wish the search feature to be more straightforward. It seems to be trying to be smart about searching close matches but it just misses exact matches and when I really have to search some messages I have to search it with SQL in the databa

I'm using Mattermost in a small team but a web app that's taking hours to update seems like a problem with your server or network setup unless your team is so large that it was never designed for such load even with serious hardwa

Looking forward for your "issue tracker". I've been looking around for a simple one "for the rest of us", but not much really exists. The close one I almost liked except the feature was too limited was Brimir. Was t

I think it's fair to see these lists at least once not to miss your personal gems. I'm in the middle of going through some 'awesome cli command list' that literally lists everything under the sun which looks like over 10

At least it's clear it's not 2022 in 2010 but imagine if they were close... Now we're resetting it down to 1, perhaps no big confusion but still, a pointless system.

You'll see more in banks and sometimes registering papers and I admit I hate it because I don't remember it as I use it maybe only once or twice a year and it provides no benefit to anyone.

It will stay valid. Consider having have to replace millions and millions right after the swap, it will be chaos. The system is simply stupid, not even citizens want it.

It's sad this date system is there for no reason today. Systems never like it and neither do people. I rarely use it and it's mostly bank related but every time I do, I look it up on Google to make sure I remember the number right

What's the point of posting a problem without actually describing it? People who haven't tried can't even tell if you just screwed it up or there's actually a problem.
