you can turn on airplane mode, quickly check whatsapp messages, get out and turn off airplane mode. It is a dirty hack, but it also helps you to spend minimal time on whatsapp.

yes, Python is strongly typed which is much better than Javascript's weak types.. but, still the dynamic types mean that potential bugs are not caught by compiler but the runtime (that means live Production environment!!). Static vs Dy

probably Google is already working on it. But what if the device is mobile or tablet (or touch screen laptop) where captchas are solved without mouse movement? I guess that could be the reason why Google has not implemented it yet.

In my experience: libraries and frameworks - TDD is required and highly effective for web apps, business CRUD apps in loosely typed languages like Javascript/Python - TDD can marginally help, especially with checking types, validations
