I'm debating between GAE standard or Firebase now for my next project :/ I've always been confortable with nodejs but didn't want to bother with GCP (GAE flex). One part that I liked about Firebase is how it's easy

How would you handle deepfakes? This is much more disturbing than what is in the post, and it isn't a corporation who built it. I don't think this has anything to do with regulating google.

The is anecdotal, but it has happened often for me to meet people in Canada doing non-engineering work even tho they have an engineering degree from their home country, something about their education not being recognized in Canada, thus th

Bought the V1s, used them for only 1 trip, then I stopped using them because what I care is sharing with people on facebook not on snapchat. I've got a water oriented trip coming up, and am tempted to buy them, but then, everything is

Much more than other places in the US. I keep seeing this type of comment, do the math, 2-3X salary increase, rent 2X increase, but rent is only ~25% of your salary, cost of things around ~25% higher. You are much better of in Silicon Valle

"Be free of debt, either from student loans or mortgage" ... if the price of your mortgage is the same as renting, why is your statement true? If you run out of money, mortgage or rent, you've got a problem.
