As a developer from a developing country, $100/yr is really expensive.

You didn't mention C++ so this might not be that useful, but I really enjoy Andreas Kling [0] and his work on SerenityOS. Even though I don't use C++ at all, he explains concepts so well that I've been able to learn a lot. He

I find mypy to be underwhelming in comparison to Typescript, but maybe it's just the ecosystem. Most JS libraries nowadays are either written in Typescript or have type definitions, but some big Python libraries don't (or the type

Do you work alone though? Do all people in your team agree with your technical decisions? If you left the team, would someone be able to maintain and improve your hand-rolled framework?

> simple demo app I don't think you can judge if the DOM api sucks if you are using a "simple demo app" as your baseline, though.

Helix is really cool. I've been using it for a few months as my main editor, the defaults are great and LSP works seamlessly out of the box. My config file is only 9 lines long, and most of them are to change the cursor to match differ

I've played a bunch of Zachtronics games, and I enjoyed all of them. My favorite is probably Shenzen I/O, it's also assembly oriented but you also to figure out how to communicate between multiple microchips. Fun game.
