No worries. I appreciate it. I'm going to see if I can reproduce the issue and try @Bewelge's solution.

Usually I associate that sort of problem with *stopping* a sample (since the stop will almost never happen at a point where the wave is actually at zero). Interesting that FF might have problems at the beginning, since most samples do indee

The lag happens because FF throttles the frame rate that's calling Jerrica when a tab isn't the center of attention. When used in a game, the developer could choose the lazy route I did in the demo or could stop calling Jerrica co

Ha. Thanks. Bonus geek/Marvel points if you understand the irony in Jerrica being 100% written on my custom one-handed keyboard named after Ruth Handler.

Thanks! The demo is dumb stupid in terms of drawing the equalisers (canvas), but that actually makes it a better stress test.

Author here. This is the major drawback of this approach. Since I'm tuning the sound tone by adjusting the playback rate, what algorithm the browser uses for up and down sampling is a major aspect of how playback sounds that I have no

Arduix uses chords but QMK has a more advance system it calls combos where it detects keypresses that are pressed sufficiently close together. There are actually layout shifts on top of that as well, so--for example--you can layout shift to

What's really invigorated everything is cheap microcontrollers and USB/bluetooth. That lets you take your weird layout with you instead of depending on soft remapping.

A few people have asked via Discord why I chose to use `DeviceOrientationEvent`. As far as I can tell, it's the most supported accelerometer API. A cursory [Can I Use]( https://caniuse.com/?search=DeviceOrientation ) sea

In the case of system services, it is probably acceptable (perhaps even ideal) to leave the image management up to deb, RPM, or ostree. systemd shouldn't do everything :) .

This is clearly a trend, though it remains to see if it will garner enough acceptance to actually be "the future". systemd supports launching container-based services via nspawn and already namespaces "legacy" services

That should be fine. The only "lingering" effects would be possibly suid or SELinux labeling oddities, but those are easy to watch out for. And I should have been clear that a remapped root that drops drops privileges and/or
