I have all my LendingClub funds in a Roth IRA so I don't have to deal with any of the tax loss/gains stuff. I've heard the tax accounting can get tricky in normal accounts, so I highly recommend putting your LendingClub funds

But claiming someone has privilege isn't a value judgement on the person, or a sin. Its not claiming they did anything wrong, or that its their fault. I'm not sure why people are so offended when others point out their privilege.

There's no real alternative to flash at the moment for live video. Youtube only recently switched from flash for live video for chromo/safari and still uses flash on Firefox.

I think its more that if the "value" to society of sending the person to jail is less than the cost of sending them to jail, then you shouldn't do it. In this case, he's expressing that the value of sending them to jail
