You cannot recover your unstaged changes if you happen to toast them with "git checkout --".

For me the UX issue was that I came from "svn" and "svn checkout" is a VERY different command. Obviously this is not git's fault. I suspect git is much easier to learn for those untainted by svn. As for "git

Yeah, and frankly the deal doesn't really look that reassuring to me. HCG had already negotiated a 9.5% loan on the $2 billion CDN (around $1.5 billion USD). Buffett is letting them refinance that loan down to 9% and he's buying

What's your add-on? It took me almost 12 months of working on mine (probably 500-600 hours) before it started to make money.

If you're in tech, you've probably used an Atlassian product (e.g., JIRA, Confluence, Bitbucket). Make an Atlassian add-on! It's been a (mostly) solo gig for me so far. Two months ago my own add-on happened to do $8K in sale

Same in Canada. But by "basic" it really is basic. No online banking, no chequing. In-branch transactions with a teller only!

Even if better training or better documentation is available, how do you get the driver of the tractor to benefit from it? The solution is better tractors. Don't blame the user.

Reminds me of the problem of fatal tractor rollovers on farms. Should we fix the problem with better documentation, better training, or better tractors? http://www.sciencedirect.com/science/article/pii/S09257

Any part of Bamboo, JIRA, Confluence, Bitbucket, or Hipchat driving you insane? That's how I started. (I don't think Sourcetree takes add-ons, and Crucible/Fisheye are pretty much dead.)
