It could be that you are on a corporate network that blocks ports like 4000. We'll get everything behind a load balancer on port 80/443 pretty soon. Sorry about that!

Some of the things you mentioned that are broken do work on my browser (Chrome). I haven't had a chance to test this with other browsers, I'll try FF and Safari and see if those problems show up there. Thanks for the feedback!
