So sad to lose someone that's made such a dent on the world so young.

It only does good if Google does something with it. That's why there's a call to tax long-held reserves, rather than profits.

That's probably in breach of your employment agreement, and more than likely criminal too. I wouldn't.

It'd be interesting to know if it's standard practice for accelerators to do intensive pitch/mentoring days like this, or they are more inclined to pair teams off with mentors that make sense centrally or serendipitously.

This is so counter-intuitive that I'm having trouble understanding if this is a logical fallacy.

Working for a startup to strike it rich is about as reasonable a thesis as starting a startup to strike it rich. Both of them are unusual, but not impossible. Indeed, working for a startup is more sensible than starting one. It's zero risk

Sure, STP is described at: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Spanning_Tree_Protocol When an 802.1D capable bridge appears on a network with STP, the other bridges will all drop their forwarding table and learn again from scratch. Failure mode

His/her ARP anecdote actually sounds like an STP problem, rather than ARP.

This is really incredible - I first heard of this when the Tottenham Court Rd incident happened a few weeks ago in London, and teleportd had images and detected the event before Sky News. Well done guys! Really cool to see it launched.

That's what we thought too - this was the definite first pass, and we always intended to have a challenge/response type question for extra credit. But we didn't need it - it turns out the kind of people that are intrigued enough to apply, a

Interesting you characterise mongodb users as hipsters - why is that? (at the risk of engaging a troll) We use mongodb extensively, but I get the hipster feeling also, mostly because they hold office hours at Look Mum No Hands in Old Street

If Moore's Law keeps working, this is a ticking time bomb for him. If the police stay interested and crack his crypto, he'll do more time for whatever he's concealed on his computer (if anything).

The concept of "crown copyright" in the UK is stifling to innovation, backward, and shows no respect for those who pay tax. We should ask our local MPs to do as the US have done, where government created IP is public domain.

Techhub has the backing (and involvement) of Mike Butcher, who is the local techcrunch editor - so it's getting a bit of press. Venues like that are great start for the ecosystem, but it's just a for-profit coworking space. I think the Lon
