I strongly recommend against using the Chrome app linked in the parent post. It uses a simple MD5 hash to derive the site-specific password from the master password, making it much easier for a site to use a brute-force approach to get the

SNI does not required dedicated IPs. Named-based virtual hosting works fine with it. See linked Wikipedia article for details.

SSL/TLS Server Name Indication ( http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Server_Name_Indication ) is supported by all major browsers nowadays. No need for a multi-domain certificate, just use an individual certificate for each virtual host.

All the other things except iPhones almost universally charge via MicroUSB now. It's hard to end upwith a "big tangle of chargers and adapters" when all you need is a MicroUSB cable.

How should they fix overheating in a later production run? This sounds more like a design issue that requires larger changes to fix.

I used a very similar approach in the mid-ninties to get full root access to all of our high-school's systems (which was technically not even illegal at this time and place). The output file used a simple single-character XOR obfuscation, t

Just created an account via this link and it doesn't look like the number of users is limited to 1. Have my own user account and was able to create two additional test accounts.

How robust is it? Does it use plastic or aluminum? How well does the trackpad work under Linux (e.g., does it detect that one finger is resting only resting on it, while you use the trackpad with another finger)?

The hint itself: That's complete nonsense and doesn't improve your security by a bit. The only reason why you might want to do something like this (at work) is if you don't want to follow non-worksafe links. And even then - what are you goi

Even if Windows phone is a viable platform only a very small minority of users actually use it. As a startup there are more important things to do than optimizing your product for a platform that no-one uses. If you as a user want to use th

There's a difference between a court delivering a judgement and this judgement being enforcable. I never said that the case wouldn't go to Canadian courts. Just because some foreign court says you're doing something wrong doesn't mean that

As far as I understand international cases, in most countries they are only enforcable if the things that you did were also illegal in your home country. So if it's OK to do this in the us, it doesn't seem to be enforcable here (but IANAL).

Does it really matter for a startup if they save a few dollar a year compared to any other solution? GoDaddy charges $13 per year for a .com. My current (random) German registrar charges around $16.5 per year incl. German VAT. Unless you pl

The best thing about this is that the conversion rate of Bitcoins is relatively unaffected. And that's good, because this is not a failure of Bitcoin, but of a single service provider.

"the real future"... The real future is what users like best, not what developers think that users might like. I personally don't like the Wayland approach and I think that competition is fine. Let the "market" decide what's best.
