Former 213 TA here. This was by far the most enjoyable lab in the course - Bomb lab is a close second but this provides a more significant ‘levelling up’ experience. The actual lab is currently offered split into 2 checkpoints with the 1st

Statecharts are used a lot in model-based design in automotive software development. I especially like a tool called IBM Statemate it was lightweight and easy to extend compared to Simulink. One key issue in the tooling however (which is pe

IMHO this would lower the already limited type information contained in a C program. `auto` still has some use in C++ where typing out repetitive template types can get tedious but it still reduces readability in my opinion.

While I'm not sure I agree with everything in the article, it does mention a point I've been thinking about for a while - configuration. I really do think applications should try to zero-in on a few standard configuration file for

I'm new to fuzzers and fuzz testing in general so I apologise for my ignorance about the purpose of fuzzing. My understanding is that fuzzing tests the user facing side (which is what is important for most programs). Does there exist s

Minor nitpick: calling it a a clone of the Unix 'ps' wouldn't be exactly right, since I understand /proc is Linux-specific. On the other hand, how did the Unix 'ps' or the 'ps' in other Unix-clones wo
