there are performance reasons for that choice, the prototypal inheritance + constructors are way faster than anything else at the moment

Well, this article isn't accurate at all, you can see Israel on Google Maps in a great resolution, but you don't have API. Must be outdated or something.

how soon something appears on the page doesn't necessarily mean it's better. blocking scripts / document.write and other "non-best practice" things may appear first on the page. smart loading is not about showing first, especially in the co
