Hmm, I think that is a non-sequitur. How does the brain's use of electrons say anything about the efficiency of photons for computing?

The top chess engines are now much much stronger than humans, and they will find some moves that grandmasters are unlikely to even consider. One recent example was Kf8 in the recent Patrycja Waszczuk cheating scandal: https://www

It's unclear if we can ever know. How can you tell if the neural net is having a subjective conscious experience, or if it's just outputting words in the dark? Clearly they are already capable of very sophisticated communication,

We can definitely simulate things approximately, but exact simulations are another matter entirely, and how much do you lose in the approximation? PBS spacetime discussed the intractability of simulating even one atom exactly: https:/

I never see this one mentioned: Google crawls the web at a high rate and is able to index new content rapidly. This is possible because every site lets googlebot through. But if you are not already an established search engine everyone will

The Stockfish engine provided by lichess on the game you linked doesn't seem to mind those moves - it has most of them in the top few lines after a few seconds of thinking time. Qe1 and Kh1 are fine if the plan is to prepare f4. 35. Nc
