It depends of the quantity you need, but there is some that use stamping to make gears. But you can also saw the profile manually. Assembling is hard but doable, the hardest part is the adjustment!

I believe ghostery is one of those kind of adblockers that checks if the ads and trackers target the right people, no? Sort of a meta-tracker. But maybe I'm too paranoid.

The 1% have to much power to slow down and to capture (as soon as possible, so when states comes in) that kind of initiatives. Look at the stories of alternatives energies. The trick is here, I think too, but really hard with no free time.
