Although that is disturbing, it doesn't explain a thing for me. Why censor the text results and leave the images?

Setting up a new server at the new location and moving the VMs one by one to the new server as they become idle should be possible without downtime. But maybe there were other requirements (like no new/additional hardware) that weren&#

Not every bulk email is spam. Look at your inbox, I bet there are at least some newsletters, transactional mails or mailing lists in there that you signed up for.

The fine-print at the bottom explains it: "On a Tesla T4, it takes on average 0.173 seconds per novel generation." I don't think you can expect someone to pay for T4 instance 24/7 for some hobby project.

Maybe I have a weird sense of humour, but all the answers to the nonsensical questions are a lot like something I would answer if I got asked those ( I'm not a bot btw ;))

But it's not one or the other. The screen is just as wide, but taller. So your xterms can be just as wide but you can fit more rows into them.

I think it comes down to the German attitude towards risk and entrepreneurship. Failure is still seen as a permanent mark on your CV here instead of something that gave you experience. German VCs are risk averse, so they are not taking big

Judging from your post you speak/write excellent english. Maybe you can capitalize that. Start an outsourcing shop for international customers or something like that.

I know, but I still think <center>text</center> ist more readable then most of the css workarounds we had to use in the past.

It doesn't solve vertical centering, but I am secretly still a fan of the center-tag. Just does what it's name implies in most situations. I still don't get why its avoided like the plague.

I tried something similar with Google auto ml a while back. Although I'm no ml expert, I think it's quite difficult to identify plants. There are many different parameters like distance, flowering or not or even time of the year.

I made an uptime monitoring service for wordpress recently and the "Show HN" post didn't get a single upvote [1]. I realized it's not a thrilling thing to show, but it was a bit more effort and is a bit more useful than

I have a withings steel HR Sport (but the steel series are all the same tech). It's nice as a smartwatch to discretly read notifications, but I wouldn't recommend it as a sleep tracker. It's reasonable comfortable to wear at

You're right, that might be the real reason. But did they report a decline in users or cpu hours? What I thought of was more like Amazon, Google or Microsoft "donating" some idle instances, or something like that.

I always try to squash as much of the complexity as I can with some well tested tools or libraries. In this case I'd use imagemagick's convert to resize and convert any of the possible file formats to the type of image I need. Sol
