No, another example of a feature that SQL server has had for a decade or more (in standard edition). Maybe you're thinking of online index creation? There are lots of reasons to criticize MSSQL (ridiculous cost, poor syntax/langua

What is the access to your hosted postgres like? Do you still have to use that proxy thing? I'm wondering how much effort is require to move a sqlalchemy based app over to this.

Or perhaps more succinctly, a JS polyfill library that uses jquery as the guts. I only mean that half jokingly.

Is this for AppEngine standard or for Cloud Functions? I don't see any mention of python 3 on the appengine page: https://cloud.google.com/appengine/docs/standard/

The US plays geopolitics very well regardless of who is in office. It's one of the reasons why you guys are the dominant force in the world. If anything, China is emulating the US. To your example, seems like the real goal of the silk

Lets not exaggerate the premium level of his 2600K chip. It was $317 when he bought it. Higher than average but hardly some $2k xeon monster.

I have to wonder if these kind of historical comparisons are useful. The market seems so much different than it did prior to 1940 (in my totally naive bystander opinion). 100 years ago you didn't have: - A diverse economy with many dif

More like you "might not need a CDN" unless you're hosting video files or other bandwidth hogs. Stripping out jquery from legacy projects is a waste of time. Why do people add dependencies like CDNs for tiny .js libraries?

Why is this downvoted? Google didn't start out with half a dozen paid search results mimicking the look of native search results at the top of their pages.

I love this guy because he gives us a genuine and unfinessed view of how brazen pharma is. His outspokenness is unique but his business dealings are not. Some will says that this sends a strong message, but I think the only take away people

Thing is, some of the stuff I used to laugh at as bullshit can be done now. Use the enhance feature to magically unblur images to clarity? I've seen ML demos of stuff like that. Giant realtime database of all phone calls meta data and

Canada has no capital gains tax on housing and it has similar housing inflation to Sweden. I would say people are frantic to buy a home in Canada because it's tax free and the alternative (stocks/bonds/etc..) isn't.
