I usually try to let these little nerd arguments go, but I'm going to make an exception. Your insulting response defending such a tenuous position deserves a swift rejoinder. You don't give a scholarship to someone with a PhD. You

I would have said postdocs if that's what I meant. I see very focused industry sponsored PhD scholarships all the time. I don't see why this would be any different.

There are over 20,000 Universities in the world, with lots of potentially amazing dark horse PhD hopefuls that are passed over every year due to lack of funding. I think a decent argument can be made that the black swan that could give Larr

I just want to be able to call all the shots on the design of my product. Intel has historically been very open on the desktop. Linux and computing in general wouldn't be where it is without that openness.

You can get a raspberry pi with an atheros chipset wifi dongle and you have pretty much a completely open source stack. It just doesn't look very nice to users. >> Also except for selling openness, what else will sell that you co

I'm interested in this, maybe as an investor too. I like the idea of ways to enhance the 'buy and hold cheap houses' investment concept. I also have one or two ideas on how to do that. Send me a message if you go ahead with i

Why do people keep building stuff on Twitter? All the app developers that have been fenced off should create a simple protocol to make Twitter irrelevent. Brent Simmons suggested a great way do it awhile back: http://inessential.
