Filezilla's community is toxic and the projects creator can be aptly described as tyrannical. If you use Mac check out Transmit by Panic. It's the best FTP client I've ever used.

Companies like AWS, Google, and MSFT have representatives that consult with YC founders to help them with engineering goals. I suppose to up-sell them on scaling with their platform.

I really just wish they would make a native email client & possibly native word and spreadsheet app to work with Google drive. It's confusing for me to know whats synced offline vs online, I can't imagine how the average user

Oh the trolling one could do with this. I believe this has great great potential. Nice work. It would be key to figure out a way to capture (not avoid) the hilarious aspect that people will use it as a joke. That's what I love about it

I see the benefits but I have to agree. This is a very real barrier to entry, and not just financially. Making SSL a global standard is just one more thing new web developers have to appreciate.

Surprisingly, Apple doesn't even offer SSD or their "Fusion Drives" in store. I was at an Apple store last week trying to buy an iMac with a 256 GB SSD and had to have them order one for me. It is worth going to the store tho

I can see it honestly. A lot of students are beginning to think about startups instead of getting a traditional corporate job. Though, I'm a sophomore right now but I've never met anyone at my school who knows about HN.

You could prompt the user through multiple pages of "questioning" under a similar premise of psychological analysis, or some other manipulation. This would reduce the number of buttons per page. That's what I think he meant.

The whole click bombing argument is undoubtedly true, I've seen it happen too many times. Additionally, from my experience, Google will wait until immediately before the payout period to ban. I had $750 waiting to be paid out one month
