ScriptCat http://www.scriptcat.io Currently it's a "pingdom for ports", and emails you if a new port opens up on your server. I'm working on making it a fuzzer for basic web vulnerabilities that automatically

I've been wanting to put "Time's Person of the Year 2006" as an award for a while now. Though, if I thought of it, I'm sure it's not exactly original.

The problem with the encryption conversation, is that they believe people more knowledgeable than myself are dealing with it. I demonstrated its importance, and they see how necessary it is. But when I say the kinds of changes being propose

My parents are okay with mass surveillance. I've tried running them through how it actually works, but it turned out that they really don't seem to care about this kind of privacy. They are very much about the idea that "if i

Looking at this article more, it does seem more likely that this is an attempt at some weird anti-abortion propaganda. That being said, I still think it's an interesting concept. I don't think that the AI assuming personhood of a

I didn't see it as anti-choice. The explanation and reality-show aspect seemed a little dumb, but I thought the core idea was really intriguing. I feel like in Sci-Fi, there's often this dynamic between Creator/AI as a Parent

Recently my car battery died on a side-street without much through-traffic. No one else I know has a car (I live in NYC), so I had to call someone to jump it for me. It cost $75. The guy used a portable jump-starter, which I'd never se

That's the one! I'm glad you like it :) I think talking to businesses personally would be great, but I wouldn't even know where to start with that. Do you have any suggestions? (books, articles, personal experience?)

Wow, thanks for the great info! I just bought the book, I'm excited to get into it. Your ISP suggestion is really interesting... it's got me thinking about a lot of channels/partnerships I hadn't even considered.

Hey! Thank you! I limited the number of sites you can add by default to discourage malicious use -- I've updated your account so you can have 10. Let me know if you need more!

I pretty much immediately dropped the idea of advertising without even looking into it, mostly because it's currently a completely free tool. But I didn't realize it was that affordable. I may actually look into that now! Congrats
