For the radio component - I suggest that you build a "block" of useful data and send that several times using very good Hamming (error correction) instead of error detection. If using wifi then consider UDP. You'll get better

In the car case: We write programs that predict how the car will drive given steering inputs. Because we're not sure, we write several programs that give slightly different answers. Given a driving input, all the programs predict the f

The defective train worked perfectly. It was the other trains that failed due to the radio emissions the rogue transmitted. Not obvious.

Assuming that what you say is true, I believe the distinction here is that a single entity here must package, release and deploy the driving software. But like RedHat and Ubuntu, building a distribution of well proven and flexible open sour

Yes, this is the point at which I exited also. I believe you'll be losing a lot of people at this point. You should make it possible to close this dialog and store a session cookie so people can come back.

You are expected to enter text in the text-box above where the text flies by. As a usability feature, I believe that it should auto-type suggestions (which fly by) in the box when you click on them. It doesn't help that the text box is

I think the other distinction there is that a "full stack developer" might have a comfortable understanding of how all these things work in quite a bit of detail. The understanding does not mean that they want to take the time inv

However the GP isn't trying to insult you. The GP is stating that most (non-idiot) people would interpret "full stack" to mean "all the software stuff" This is simply a direct counter to your argument that "eve

Polling sounds the most likely. Note that previously compromised cameras can be used to perform tasks such as port scanning other IP addresses. They can also be used to compromise other devices in the home network.

In your argument, you are assuming that the individual Walmart worker has the power to negotiate. However, they do not. There are many potential (unskilled) workers, and Walmart has all the power. They are more than happy to present an offe

And yet they are far better than the Modula II 8051 compiler we used to use. At least Keil C51 does static analysis on function locals to overlay them and create a "stack." We used to do that by hand.

Perhaps "Really? Most C I've seen is actually that bad." Less is more. However, I think that your original sentence is fine too. GP is being a bit pedantic.

js as taught on kahn is c-like and visual. It's approachable and garbage collected. Learning languages need to be simple and friendly, not practical. Not saying that they shouldn't understand the full stack eventually.
