No idea why this is getting downvoted. You'll naturally need more control over memory when building AAA high-performance 3D games, but there's tons of great 2D games made with GC languages (see: Love2D, OpenFL, HaxeFlixel, ImpactJ

I'm confused. When I run your DDG query, the first result is the github page, and the second result is the docs. So same top two as Google, but flipped. I find that acceptable. Maybe one of us is in some A/B bucket?

I mean, you can always pay for healthcare the day you need it. It's just incredibly expensive. And don't forget, one day you'll be old or sick, so I hope you have a lot of money saved :)

Plenty of businesses operate off the principle of losing money on one product SKU while making it up on others. Think Dollar Shave Club, game console sales, etc. I imagine banks could take a hit on low-income accounts and make it up on high
