While I was trying to figure out why my submission ended up where it did... I realized my code has a bug. It's too late for a resubmission, isn't it? :(

Drama, drama, drama. Why don't we just get rid of Flash for good and end it all?

Staying profitable is all well and good, but the argument that this won't translate into profitable returns is, IMO, bull. Sony has recently said that the PS3 hardware will be profitable this year, if it isn't already.

Horse shit. If the spec forbade "the" codec, the offending vendors will simply violate the spec and claim some kind of justification for it. Yes, we're complaining to the wrong people. No, going to the W3C is not the answer. I tend to thi

It does. VC-1 has hardware support in a number of areas and is included in WMP since at least 10, IIRC. h.264 still is not supported on any version of Windows before 7, and is only available in Flash. Supporting h.264, with your logic, ma

What would the big players attack you with if they didn't have their massive patent portfolios? Why would a startup have to worry about being attacked if patents were a non-issue? It's a serious question.
