This article only briefly mentions that co-morbidities (obesity, hypertenstion, etc) are important but doesn't use them for data analysis. So I don't think anyone can determine their risk from this article. It is much higher or lo

I am still using Simplenote because mobile works really fast and the sync stays up to date. The approach here of syncing markdown files with icloud seems like it might work well enough. The lack of linking between notes is definitely the m

GTD and a knowledge base are 2 separate things that shouldn't be conflated. So your criticism of GTD could be valid, but it doesn't have any relevance to a knowledge base.

I am not opposed to a wealth tax, but I wish we understood what it is we are undoing here. The Federal Reserve is now printing trillions of dollars. Some of this is going to Congress to attempt to distribute fairly. However, most goes towar

I can't even figure out Sumo's pricing by looking at their pricing page. DataDog's pricing page on the other hand is very easy to understand even though it contains 2 aspects (ingest and index). I would note that Data Dog li

The newer Dr. Seuss books feel like they have a fraction of the effort put into them. Sometimes a couple sentences seem like ones written by the original Dr. Seuss but then they decided it was too hard and just gave up on quality.

I think they have the least expensive logging product available. But you have to 1) Not run the DataDog agent (you can use fluent-bit) 2) Filter logs so they are not indexed (and in some cases not ingested)

This is the approach I am taking (bought inverter, will test it out next weekend). I don't think you can really run this off the battery (it will be on the order of 1000 watts): instead you need to have the car turned on and will be es

Great tool! I am only interested in running such a tool locally (on-prem). This avoids security/privacy issues and data transfer time/cost issues. A good model for me would be 30 day free license to get it integrated into our work

Also just increased confidence that the build is working properly. I think there's added security for the first party builder in their own process: they can better audit the process from source code to deployment.

Even if the business survives there are bad outcomes. Creative destruction does not occur and moral hazard is increased. I agree that there is a huge benefit to society to avoid a wave of mass bankruptcies, but there are huge costs as well.
