Well spotted. I’ve always found ODBC drivers to be some ancient artefact that we lost the source code for.

I want to use someone’s novel software idea. I do not need to understand how it is built and how to maintain it . Getting irate about what the customer wants (‘use software easily’), then blaming them for not wanting to understand the b

I read it in the sense that they would retune or reengineer it if it was discovered that holding it in a hand resulted in poorer performance - ie. they need to factor in the environment it operates in (a hand beside a body) after they desig

Even W10 struggled to shake off the XP era control panel items, many of which still remain as another layer in W11. I’m convinced that they released it prematurely as an attempt to claw back much attention from Apple’s M1 launch.

Orang Pi Plus supports DP Alt Mode [1]. You’d have to read through the spec sheet to confirm fps performance. Seems like a niche feature tbh. [1] https://www.cnx-software.com/2023/05/10/orange-pi-5-plus-sbc...

I just scrolled through half a dozen ATC tower tour videos on YouTube and didn't see any skewed displays, but it's possible that they 1) they tidied it up for the tour, or 2) they just didn't apply this approach in those part

In Australia, cars have red rear lights on at all times, so it’s easy to distinguish a reversing car or a headlight. Also, aren’t all cars now required to have front on driving lights in most jurisdictions, separate to headlights?
