if I understand correctly separation of powers is not spelled out well in the constitution. The supreme Court didn't have any power until the 1830s http://www.wnyc.org/story/giggly-blue-robot

I'm also surprises uber doesn't take destination into account when requesting drivers. AFAICT it just asks based on distance so a driver that will be heading the wrong way to pick me up on a one way street takes the request and th

There's that too. And that's more evidence I'm not fluent. In English if someone uses new slang on me I understand it almost immediately from context. In my 2nd language I'm lost

I mostly agree with you. I might not know every English word but I won't consider myself fluent until I can understand and use my second language at the same level as my first. In other words I should be able to easily explain anything

It really depends on the film though. There are family dramas I can understand 100% but I watch a movie with lawyers or science or high level government or military meetings and I'm lost.

Can you point to where they removed it. AFAICT it's still in full force. Your example of JS inside a UIWebView is true but anything else is not. The only allowed code loaded at runtime has to be either (a) already in the app or (b) exe

I'd argue it succeeded because it didn't require you to run a server. All those cpanel lamp ISPs mean sign in and upload code. All other solutions, java, .net, node, python, Haskell, etc require you to run and maintain your own se

You might be programmed differently. I had a similar experience where I didn't start really drinking until I moved to Tokyo. Before that I tried for 2-3 months when I was 25, hated the taste, got headaches, stopped. A friend had me try

This might be a dumb question but wouldn't one solution to the HID-based attack be for the OS to ask the user for permission to allow the new keyboard? As in "New Keyboard Detected: Allow? Y/N" That wouldn't protect
