> Then move to Wyoming. This is such an overwhelmingly stupid statement. It's effectively "if you don't like it, then leave." Wyoming is not as desirable as California in many ways. People don't want to go there.

You refuse to appreciate the context of his comment. Trump is a minority leader in the context of the popular vote. That's just by definition. The reason we're not talking about electoral votes is because the discussion revolves a

You're probably being facetious, but I have heard some version of this argument before. It's akin to saying "give us what we want or we'll hold the country hostage." In reality, free markets being a thing, this woul

I suppose the reason this token is not encrypted is because supporting offline data access would mean there's some private key on the computer -- and the same read access that exposed this token would expose that key. Is the Trello off

I couldn't agree more. After Inbox, I've been burned for the last time. Won't be buying into new Google services again.

You shouldn't freeze your beans. You can get a container which allows the beans to degas at a constant rate, which keeps them fresher for longer on your counter. Good beans don't deserve the freezer.

Anyone noticed that you can click the game board to go full screen. This kid is doing more with less than many developers do with years of training. I think he's got a career in programming ahead.

Am I the only one turned off by the very poor grammar on a post about writing a book ? Are you writing the book in English?

I love the Sieve of Eratosthenes. Even if it's not the most optimal, I find it a very clever and beautiful way to find prime numbers up to a given point.

I purchased an annual digital subscription and I'm never even logged into NYT. I get my news from various sources, including NYT, but I don't go to NYT for news, it comes to me through Reddit and Apple news. I consider the subsc

Having gone through most of Udacity's "C++ for Programmers," I agree with you. I don't feel like the exercises were helpful at all a lot of the instructions were outdated and didn't match with the content.

Huge, massive, credibility-undercutting typo in the slot pulling analogy: "you loose." I'm not sure when people started making this mistake, but it's one of my more cringe-worthy ones to see.

It's really quite simple. Having strong "net neutrality" means that all bits are equal. It's like imagining that your ISP can't see where the bits go, they just come read the meter. In fact, the analogy to your elec

Is this going to enable me to build my own little remote gaming server with steam? I remember seeing someone attempt to do this with Linux GPUs a while back with EC2. I get the feeling things might be easier with on a Windows EC2 instance.

This is incorrect. Evidence suggests Trump wants to make what would now be considered legal immigration illegal (such as the Muslim ban). Seriously, if you haven't gotten off the Trump train by this point you need to open your eyes.
