Right bellow is a download button. My immediate thought was that OSX platforms obtained the app from the appstore while other platforms could use the download link. When I see an appstore link I don't immediatly assume OS X only.

I had to change: #!/usr/bin/env python to: #!/usr/bin/env python2 in the python scripts to get it working under archlinux. If this works on the other platforms, that might be a good change.

When comparing the intel and arm architectures, GHz doesn't mean much. Transistor technology has evolved to a point where most processors are clocked in that area. The reason that the intel processor is so much faster is that with a hi

The interesting thing is that the 'temporary' monopoly isn't really temporary as it keeps being extended before most copyrights expire. In theory it is temporary but in practice it's not (at least so far). To see this in

I'm a consultant in Quebec and I've seen too many companies document code in French. Sometimes variable and function names are in a mix of French and English. The worse is when your errors and exceptions are in French: you get ver

There's another variable to throw into the mix: all gates are not created equal. A 28nm (this new processor) takes a lot more power than a 22nm (new intel processors) gate.
