You're comparing Microsoft's behavior now, after they've been smacked down in 1994 to how they operate now. MS had a long track record of breaking applications that competed with their offerings. If they hadn't been forc

Dr Dos was a perfect example of MS trying to squash competitors. MS didn't tolerate ANYONE competing with them.

They're just spouting the various Russian justifications for the invasion. It gets tiresome when they can't even agree that Ukraine is a "real" country and that Russia is completely at fault.

Russian and Ukrainian have similar roots, but are not "essentially the same language." The "national origin story" (unless you mean the 1917 Revolution) is nothing like how the two countries were created. Mexico and the

You're using a BMW as an anecdote yet quibbling about Toyota's marketshare? Of course not every single care manufactured today will last forever. Some are junk. Some, like Toyota are quite good and with proper care and maintenance

So a couple of hours. Say 140 miles. In winter, that's about your max range in a Model 3/Y. So you arrive with so little juice, and at a house that has no charger. So you have to charge forever on 110v. Then limp your car to a Sup

Road trips in the winter suck in a Tesla, despite the Supercharger network. Batteries perform worse, you have to charge frequently, and you have to drive slower than during normal weather. That pretty much writes off the entire Midwest wher

Really not sure what you're rambling about mixing up the EU with Red Army stuff or "injustice to sanity". Poland had existed for centuries before being dismembered in the 18th Century. Reconstituted after WW1, it was a fully

Considering the USSR partnered with Nazi Germany to invade and split up Poland, yes, the Red Army was definitely the aggressor. There's also a school of thought amongst historians that if Germany hadn't attacked the USSR in 1941,

I tried to buy one last spring and gave up. I put down a deposit in March, was told I might get one around June. June came around and they couldn't do more than say "Maybe by Sept." Ended up buying a used car.

We too have a nice 4k projector. Wife prefers to watch in the living room on an old LCD. She doesn't even mind watching DVDs (no upscaling on this TV). That makes my eyes bleed, but she doesn't care one bit.
