I’m not, I’m presently underwhelmed by the examples everyone shows. I’m yet to see actual productivity result from people paying to talk to chatbots to generate boilerplate. But I tend to shy away from hypers so the LLM craze is passing me

People get sucked into all sorts of schemes or ideas. I never said grifters but a fair share of my social circle pumped crypto’s/nft’s when they bought some(small amounts but whatever). Same people just can’t shut up about AI/LLM’

Someone mentioned sunk costs a couple of days ago, and here’s a glaringly stupid example but watch everyone justify the price tag with all sorts of reasons.

Not just enterprise, any human organisation. Also sunk costs “should in theory” never be considered but I’ve only ever seen sunk costs considered.

I’ve made some gnarly custom forms over the years but never quite run into the problem you’re describing. These days if starting a greenfield web app, each page has its own style/css sent in the head tag. Because it’s usually just base

The one thing that’s true in that article is the output of bad coders/programmers/developers/engineers is certainly increasing. Good luck to anyone cleaning up the mess.

I think the quality of comms is definitely getting worse, I work for myself now and I am very selective of clients now. So I don’t butt heads against it as much, but it still happens despite best efforts, especially when people move on or e

I don’t like the tools personally, and find the reversion of any sort of interface to a chat interface a huge loss to UI - but for the love of all things holy why are using them if they don’t provide any benefit?
