Your problem is trying to use the tabbar as a replacement for :ls/:files/:buffers. Stop, and learn what tabpages really are--work spaces, or view ports.

First round: 1 / 2^32 since there are 32 winners to pick, and 2 choices for each. Second round: 1 / 4^16 since there are 16 winners to pick and 4 choices for each. But this assumes you can pick a loser from round 1. So, it's actually 1 /

The problem is having the younger children outside waiting for the bus in the dark before or soon after the sun comes up in late autumn and winter.

Joel doesn't just say that SVN is obsolete; he compares it to a blood-sucking worm. That's some strong emotion.

"If you are using Subversion, stop it. Just stop. Subversion = Leeches. Mercurial and Git = Antibiotics." This is great. A few years ago, DVCS was weird and strange and SVN was the stuff. When people discover how awesome Git and Mercurial

Those mappings aren't doing what you expect, because s and S in visual mode do the same thing. And instead of mapping all the text objects like that and using visual mode, you should just do this instead: nmap s ys nmap S yS

You know, it's not really necessary to use visual mode for those mappings. You could even get away with doing this and it works just the same: nmap s ysi nmap S ysa

No, because then it will be used for all files. Instead, you need to turn on ftplugins with "filetype plugin on". Then it's only loaded for ft=html files.

If you need to wrap some things in a div, you could also use another tpope plugin: surround.vim. Just visually select the items and just do this: s<div> Also, you can use motions, etc.

An intersection where I wait for the city bus in TN really needs a red light camera. During rush hour, it's a contest to see who can block the intersection the best. In the past year, I've seen only one car get pulled over for it. But I

Tmux uses some non-standard escape sequences, e.g. ctrl- and ctrl-shift- arrow keys. In version 1.0 it's impossible to distinguish between ctrl-left and ctrl-shift-left.
