Thought has occurred to me but I'm looking forward to this! Will be neat to be able to go from home to work without actually walking a full block at either end. Pretty sure one of the 86th street entrances is coming up on my block because t

When I do this, I do it with Kris Zyp's put selector [1]. Creates new elements, modifies existing ones. It's the only DOM manipulation API I like besides jQuery. [1] https://github.com/kriszyp/put-selector That said, I don't do this very

The sc-init and sc-server are Sproutcore 1.X. Sproutcore 2.X (now Amber, what we're discussing here) works exactly like you'd want: <script src="//ajax.googleapis.com/ajax/libs/jquery/1.6.1/jquery.min.js"></script>

It took me a while to figure it out, but the model concept in Backbone doesn't completely correspond to the model concept in Amber. Backbone, at least as I practiced it, has a model that very closely corresponds to what goes over the wire.
