Retraining people once they're alive again not only requires logisitics and hiring N-centuries from now, but also requires that anyone really cares. You could imagine a world where 100s of people are being reanimated at once, but I don

I was reading it as "joon note" originally! I only realized I was misreading it when coming back to the comments. If you wanted to change up the name, maybe "June Note"? It has a nice ring to it IMO, and doesn't str

Electric kettles are much better designed, and are what the parent comment is talking about. This [0] is the canonical white-labeled kettle that you can have for 30 of your hard-earned canukistanian kopeks, and are the average kettle around

The example that comes to my mind is lockout tags. [0] It usually means temporarily jamming up a specific control marked as the lockout/ignition/energizing control while you're working on some big and gnarly machine. There&#x

Fair point! Yeah I guess I should sorta reframe my thinking as “something more creatively European”… It doesn’t have to be cross-lingual. (if that’s a word) Oficium goes hard. I would absolutely push for that if I had any sort of involvemen

Totally agree, except for the "AI Ghostwriter" framing. I'm at least fine with someone passing off LLM output as their own, because the hidden social contract that wraps that situation is I assume you read it and agree with w

I know, that's what I meant by "most other EU language translations". But to me at least, this is a brandable name. Why not do something "unifying" across many european languages, not just something that works in a

I think they could've worked a little harder to at least find a noun you could futz with so it has some commonality between european languages. "Office" is probably well known, but it doesn't "feel" very europe

This is not an issue at all, but when ever I come across something like it, I like to poke at the frontend in dev tools a bit. You can pass most levels with `setVolume(25)` in the web console, since that function is just sitting in the docu

Just to toss on some info you might already know, the mention about grouping is related to group theory. [0] If a set satisfies those 3 axioms, there's some assertions you can build off that are common to all group theory sets, and hav
