Might also be interesting to see if mentioning a target ELO score actually works over enough simulated games. I can imagine there might be regular mentions of a player's ELO score near their match history in the training data. That way

I think they mean that you can always send back the content of a localstorage property with javascript grabbing the value and sending another request back with it in the body. Since the front end is going to run any javascript the server se

I think one important use case we have for cookies is "Secure; HttpOnly" cookies. Making a token totally inaccessible from JS, but still letting the client handle the session is a use case that localStorage can't help with. (

I have an on-going topic with friends at work about what accessibility "means". It annoys me to no end when devs talk about some specific technical change "increasing accessibility". The accessibility best practices are

So I'm pretty uninformed about the guts of node-gyp, and why it's used, but if people need to bring in dependancies from outside javascript... could WASM be a good fit there? Could store the binaries instead, and ship those... and

I truly believe some flavour of "Javascript Classic" (some future state of JS before some big shift in syntax/mass migration to something else), C and x86 instructions will follow humanity for the rest of time. There will be

I actually went to the penis museum 5 years ago! It was... maybe not the best thing. It's not exactly clear in a lot of the marketing materials, and even once you arrive, that it's just a single room behind the front desk. It felt

It’ll be interesting to see where we end up using this. I don’t honestly see the CSS3 shield this is meant to replace very often anymore. Probably the place where it’ll be seen the most is in IDE file trees, where I’m a bit worried it’ll ju

Would combine quite well with `text-wrap` actually! [0] That way, the renderer knows the area it needs to fill (the implicit `max-content`, defined width/height, or flex/grid size of the container) and it knows how to best split u

I can understand that, but I don't know if legal texts would be more explicit given simpler language. You can bake ambiguity into any text you want. "Simple english" will naturally just have less words than legalese, since th

I think legalize is the way it is because it requires precision. A lot of the words and phrases that show up in legal documents don't have an easy definition because they're litigated terms. "fair use" isn't just &q

I wouldn't mind that if it's 0,50$ to watch a TV show episode, up to the maximum I would spend per month on a subscription. If I don't use it, I don't get charged. If I only watched a few things, charge me a few dollars.
