From the very beginning I've been reluctant to use Ventoy. In the beginning there were no instructions on how to build from source. Then after that there were binary blobs that were used in the build. So far I've never used Ventoy

I'm glad to see someone else annoyed that GitHub doesn't allow commenting on the commit messages directly. One of the things I miss from Gerrit.

I was wondering the same thing. In fact when I saw this post (the top-level) about PyCon 2024 I went and re-checked to see if they had published any videos. Like you I see "144 unavailable videos are hidden" and only 9 videos avai

From what I have read Italy uses a mixture of Type C, Type F, and Type L. Ouch! And when I went to Italy I also stopped in a store to buy an adapter when my Europe adapter didn't work.

Google records chat by default. But it appears they had a policy if they were going to discuss something that could look bad if subpoenaed that chat recording should be turned off before discussing it.

Not in my experience. In the Admin console I said do not use Passkey and it still created it as a Passkey :( This was about a month ago, so maybe they fixed it. Turning off FIDO2 made things work.

As someone who happily uses Yubikeys, I really don't want to use a Passkey. I want to still use a username/password and the Yubikey. Not just username and Yubikey. Google tries to force use of passkey now that if you enroll a Yubi

Agreed. I wonder if anyone read the entire article. Firefox reader mode says 293–372 minutes to read the article. Which is 4 hours 53 minutes - 6 hours 12 minutes. Though I do think reader mode can overestimate by a lot. Still a 53,000+ wor

Take a look at what the pros are using. Most of the tools they are using are going to be cordless these days. As a DIYer, I have my cordless tools and rarely need to charge them. For the most part they go many months between charges as I do

For the small driver I recommend the Bosch 12 volt tools. They can be bought on sale for a good price. And the batteries last for a very long time. I rarely charge mine, but I only use them occasionally.

I'm a big fan of my Bosch 12 volt tools. I like the small size and the power works for almost everything I do. As a DIYer, I rarely need to charge my tools as I don't use them that often.

I'm not sure that California's law applies as this does not appear to be a recording of a telephone call. It seems to be a recording of some sort of Team's type meeting, which I am unsure the law applies to. https:/

My mildly-informed opinion is that none of the four bolts were installed in the door plug. Otherwise it doesn't seem possible that the door could move up. I guess we will find out in the future as the NTSB said in the briefing that the
