I don't think that the Nigerian scammers are necessarily unsophisticated. Their scam emails intentionally contain enough red flags that any reasonably intelligent person will recognize the scam and not reply. This way, the only replies

It may be hard for people who weren't using computers back then to understand what a leap this was, why it was worth applause. I never had a Mac, but I appreciate what it did to drive the industry toward usability.

A couple of years ago I decided to learn Kotlin by doing AoC puzzles. It was a really good way to get comfortable with the basic syntax and data structures of the language.

I just tried the Windows (GUI) version. Three times in a row, I entered numbers into two cells, and when I tried to sum them into a third cell the app closed without an error message. I think I'll give it a pass.

One of the costs built into hearing aids is the lavish perks that the suppliers give to the audiologists. My partner got a trip for two to the Caribbean every year, to 5-star resorts, for selling a certain number of their hearing aids. Ther
