Excellent package! Speaks very highly of code quality in the Scala ecosystem. It's documentation also seems far superior than that of Scala, the language, or the Play framework. I wish they get to improve those as well..

Can you expand on what you mean by "what can be done with ClojureScript components in .cljc files"? Is Facebook also working with ClojureScript?

I've had a Pebble for a little while, and I'm extremely happy with it. I bought it last fall for under $100 on Black Friday. My main goal was to give this smartwatch craze a try before the Apple Watch came out. The Pebble also has

I read that Telegram used a custom crypto protocol instead of standard ones, which was a cause for concern [1]. Open-sourcing their server code would certainly make it easier for researchers to fully analyze what's happening, as well a

I had looked into the 'ast' module a little while back, and I do agree that it's pretty neat. The main use I've seen it type checking, or adding language level features (that would typically be done by macros in LISP). I

How would people that use both Python and Ruby compare the tooling for both languages? I only am familiar with Python, and I end up using IPython most of the time. I'm curious whether I'm missing out, or maybe Python also has &quo

Good design! And great work! I wish I could see the number of votes a post got on the main screen though.. I like the filtering, but sometimes I just want to look at the numbers and decide for myself

Perfect model for Amazon's new distribution system! Transform people's basements into small warehouses, complete with autonomous robots. Then ship everything locally, as they are needed!

I agree that Webpack is a serious competitor, and it's rather odd to not even mention it [1]. But I don't think Webpack does incremental compilation, since it usually takes quite a long time for me to compile my modestly-sized ass

Would you also say the same about Cassandra? Netflix is the largest user, and they are well-known for their "Chaos Monkey" strategy of taking down servers randomly..

What are the specific concerns with GoDaddy? I've been using them only as a domain registrar, and, well, they do register my domains.. I didn't know there were issues of the same magnitude as with SourceForge. What registrar do yo

I agree. Instead of promoting this as something very simple to do with GitUp, we should stop people from having people the urge to change commit messages. Plus, as even programming data structures are increasingly immutable, I don't se

I agree. If you've already pushed to other repos with the old commit message, this can cause issues. The only time I actually change the commit message is when I'm sure that nobody else has seen it. I'm not even sure what hap

I think the key point here is this: you're right that regular users don't need homebrew; developers certainly do. By having an analog of homebrew for Windows, Microsoft can attract more developers, which then would translate into

I wish Windows just became a POSIX compliant OS. I think that would solve a lot of these smaller issues in an elegant way. Apple did a very smart job with Mac OS X, to the point where even I switched to a Mac after having Linux for so many

I've looked into Haskell, and loved it. Even though I've never used it for any code that ran in production, and I doubt I ever will, I really appreciate the contributions of the Haskell community. I think they had a great part in

I see, so there's no need to even use an external library. It doesn't look like they are using the PureRenderMixin for the benchmarks. Would be curious to see how they compare then..
