It's annoying since you are culturally dominant and we read and watch a lot of your output. We're not mad, but aware that it could be so much better.

A tonne is 1000 kilo isn't it? I have to look it up every once in a while.

A litre is exactly the size of a carton of milk over here, so that is a very common amount that you use every day. A cubic metre or if you really wish a kilolitre (kl, not the Americanism kL) is an easy to imagine amount since we work with

Citation needed. And for whom? I have never heard examples of how tracking has made the difference in finding the right product for someone.

But for such ads you don't need tracking (which is what is meant with personalization). Plain old targeting by choosing the right websites or pages to publish your ads on works fine for that, probably even better.

Well, then we should re-engineer things so that they don't, or regulate them heavily.

In built-up areas it's often (usually?) a bicycle lane, i.e. on the same piece of asphalt as where the cars are. In that case, bicycles always have priority. It's the same as taking a right turn: wait for bikes that go straight.

More that they aren't really taken into consideration, as the article shows by not showing.

Would be good though if they had tested it with slightly older desktop Firefox. FF 113 on Linux, which really isn't that ancient, and I can't move the white area.

It seems to be a script/program that just happens to be called gpr. I don't know the meaning of the abbreviation.

The author complains that he doesn't see all of the code, but in the first image it looks like the right-hand pane shows exactly that (though with diff highlighting). Am I missing something?

Lots of its features come from BASIC, like "on error goto" (even though it now worked with labels rather than line numbers). It is a more structured kind of BASIC than many of its predecessors, but procedures and functions have ap

I'm no expert either, but there seems to be a nonzero chance of that. However, according to the article, it is offset by the immune system learning of the contents of the destroyed cells and attacking these even elsewhere in the body.

I understand that some comparisons with realistic assumptions have been made. Notably, high-speed trains cause significantly more emissions than classical trains, but are still better than planes.

On a plane, you may have to get up extra early, or still lose half a day. Especially in Central/Eastern Europe, the prices aren't that high really. And, as GP already wrote, you save on one night in a hotel, which may offset the e
