The key feature of Iron Dome is it won't try to intercept rockets that aren't going to hit a populated area, which means the Israelis don't go broke shooting $100k interceptors at $50 rockets that were going to hit anything a

That's why they say "based on a true story" instead of "this is a true story". They can change whatever they want and call it artistic license.

The reason you don't talk to cops in the US or Canada (and some other countries, I assume) is by law your refusal isn't taken as an indication of guilt. So you have nothing to gain and everything to lose. Police interrogations

As I understand it, from an automaker's perspective a lease is a sale. They're just selling it to a third party instead of the leasee.

How is that impoverishing everyone else? There's an incredible amount of empty land in the US - the UK has 12 times the population density. I don't understand why people feel they have a right to move to a particular place and li

Even if it gets to Mars there's no way to put it into orbit. It'll either hit the planet or go shooting past. I guess in theory you could use aerocapture to avoid leaving if you aimed it just right , but without thrusters that w

If I were king for a day I'd institute an across-the-board import tariff of 5% or so. Enough to keep domestic suppliers from gouging consumers, but also enough to tilt the playing field a bit in the direction of domestic manufacturing

That's not true. You don't validate someone's opinion by honest debate with them. My point is I don't think it's actually their opinion. You can't have honest debate with someone who's pulling your leg.
