Not mentioned above, but should be noted that all of this DRM is still only protecting the compressed and encoded video content. Schemes to protect the uncompressed digital video data are all permanently and universally broken or bypassed.

If you are so inclined, ARRL transmits amateur radio news bulletins daily on a regular schedule[1] in the USA. The bulletins can be received with any shortwave radio that supports SSB (single sideband modulation) and decoded with a soundcar

That's not at all my point. My point is a car with 15,000 parts in it is statistically more likely to have problems than a car with 7,000 parts in it. Hybrid vehicles by their very nature tend to have high part counts, lots of custom c

The thing that makes vyos "not Linux" is the configuration shell and monolithic configuration file. Ultimately vyos/vtysh consumes this single configuration file and uses it to template commands or configuration files for oth

It'd be worthwhile to ask why that answer persisted on SE in the first place. I've used iscsi before with sg and scd devices; it's never even occurred to me that anyone should think it's limited to disks, because, well,

I'm not advocating for the system in the linked article; it is a hobby project, but not yet a viable platform that should be used unattended or built buy unqualified hobbyists. I would add that I support the author's right to buil

I hear you; however I would counter that what most people want to tinker with is not actually the life-and-safety-critical bits of the system. There are really only a few things that you can meaningfully do with an EVSE anyway: 1) Enable&#x

IIRC the half-width version of these switches are not advertised as having PTP support. I wouldn't have the first clue if it's straightforward to configure it to work with upstream linux but I do use PTP with Dell SmartFabric OS10
