Countly [1] is another open source alternative to Google Analytics - suggest you try it on Digital Ocean [2] or deploy on your own [3]. It is self hosted, has support for desktop apps, mobile apps and web apps at the same time. [1] https:&

Congrats guys. It is always great to see other players bringing open source approach to product analytics. This will only bring more competition hence better products. (PS: I am one of the cofounders of Countly).

Nathan, did you check Countly? (which is at the top 10 analytics platforms on Google Play, according to Appfigures), and is not prohibitely expensive. Thought you may give it a try. (shameless plug: I am one of the cofounders).

Countly ( https://count.ly ) is open source, push notifications, analytics, A/B testing, performance management and deployable on-prem. You can also install a limited, free-to-use version on Digital Ocean also.

Have you tried Countly then? It's a serious contender to Mixpanel/Amplitude, self hosted and backend is MongoDB (if that is something you are interested in).

You may want to check Countly as well ( https://count.ly ) - one speedy option is to deploy using Digital Ocean https://marketplace.digitalocean.com/apps/countly-analytics .. Countly is a perfect fit for both

You may want to check Countly too (open source and self hosted) - could be easily downloaded or there is also a 1-click installation option on Digital Ocean.

Out of curiosity Gitlabbers, have you thought about using an onpremises, self hosted product analytics/telemetry solution like Countly so that you don’t have to share PII data with a 3rd party? (disclaimer as usual: I work there).
