In most fish, larger size = more eggs or more sperm. So yes, largest ones are typically the best breeders. IIRC some species like I think some tuna they don't harvest the largest on purpose.

Strongly disagree. Windows 11 is EXACTLY what you describe and it's not a great tablet experience. IMO it's worse than 8, 8.1 or 10. I probably accidentally close a web browser about 5 times a day on my Surface from my palm brushi

Yeah but the company could save 12¢ forgoing it and maybe 1/10,000 customers would even know about it to complain.

Yep. You can also sync to your own self-hosted book platform like Calibre-Web or Komga instead of or alongside the Kobo store. That way you can easily sync books from multiple stores.

Which leaves them up to the mercy of Amazon's conversion system. Did they fix it choking on the text encoding yet or is there a decent chance of it messing with apostrophes still?

I have zero student loans FYI. Never had any either. Nor do I have a lesbian dance theory degree. I have been lucky not to need them. I don't think you're engaging in good faith. My questions are related to get you to realize ther

You don't purchase Microsoft points. You can purchase extra support with 1000 Microsoft points that you can easily get for free in like a week clicking on some links on Bing.

I like how if you go by the fact a $5 Xbox giftcard is about 3500 points, they are valuing the Windows 10 updates at about $1.40 but charge $30 for them. Takes very little time to get 1000 Microsoft rewards too.

Does Mobian work without a touch screen? Most of the kinds of devices Rocknix supports don't have one. Rocknix has a nice emulator front end out of the box, a media player, etc. and it all works with the game pad controls.

I'm still baffled that on a platform where fragmentation is a serious issue it was decided the best course of action is to have every DE implement it independently. We are going from every DE sharing certain settings and configs to the

I think you're vastly over simplifying the "not be homeless" part. Very highly doubt the majority of homeless people want to be homeless.

But it's still sprawl. Yes, there's cities that can still sprawl more, but building sprawl is not the same thing as building a new city. You're just building a place for people to sleep while they work somewhere else. You hav

Is that a new town? Or sprawl of an existing city? There's only so far out you can reasonably go before the commute stops making sense. Many cities have already hit that limit. For example, there really isn't any space outside Tor

Where are these cheap cost of living and high job availability places? How do you rent a place in a city you've likely never been, without a job already lined up, presumedly no money for a deposit? What do you do when you realize this

Building new towns is hard because you need jobs nearby and there's no guarantee they'll materialize to a large enough degree to support the town. I'm wondering if it's okay to have the government take over properties th

R is very heavily used in Statistics. It's also common in other sciences. I've worked a fair bit with biologists and that's what they're using too for data analysis and visualization.

You had a very niche device at the time that was far from the typical reader of 2010. 7 and 8" inch devices very much still exist. Kobo has the 7" Libra Colour and the 8" Sage. Amazon also moved the popular Paperwhite line fr

What 2010 reader did you have? The $140 6" Kobo Clara BW for example is far far better than original $150 6" Kobo of 2010. Screen is much sharper and higher contrast, supports touch, it's way faster, has WiFi, front light, so
