I look forward to seeing some new screencasts on that site. The last one is from May.

But they've got a point. Even if it takes "only 10 minutes" to upgrade, there have been so many new versions and so many security issues that it gets kind of old after a while. Especially if you have multiple sites all running it.

Tim Ferriss gives a good example of this in the book Four Hour Work Week, when he discusses how he used Adwords to pick the book name.

I love the idea! I've always found Slicehost and other DIY hosting solutions to be difficult to set up and work with. Which is why a solution like Heroku is so tempting (though various limitations have precluded my using it so far). I'm ex

I doubt I would have watched that when I was a kid, but I will DEFINITELY watch it now. The cartoon format makes it kind of goofy, but the content is great.

If you're going to have a "lifestyle business" and you will be living in California you may as well just register the company in California. All Delaware gets you is more paperwork, i.e. the requirement to file in Delaware AND California.

I think this sounds awesome. However it is odd they didn't link to GitHub or something. Looks like they just launched the site, so hopefully that's coming soon.

If you're going to write it in C, why not just write it in Java? You could use the Google Web Toolkit..

I find it to be a great way to communicate with friends and folks I'd like to know a little better. It's like IM but you don't have to catch them online individually or disrupt their workflow.

Take a look at trademarks for Zillow and derivatives: http://bit.ly/jrJ8v Zillow could argue that your domain is confusingly similar and violates their trademark. They are probably offering you a few hundred bucks because it would cost mo

Of course people will pay $9.99 for software! In fact, they are often willing to pay a lot more than that - as long as the value it provides them exceeds the price. (And the MLB app obviously does.) Doesn't matter that it's for the iPhone.

That other article was a joke. Did you even read it? I thought it was funny and interesting, and it certainly gratified my intellectual curiosity. I liked the stats on Ruby vs. Perl vs. PHP. Lighten up, dude..
