This will destroy the boiler plate industry. So bye javascript, it's not been nice. What will stay, is human level systems engineering, Running things, designing etc. And for a very long time, you're going to have to check AI'

All this does is change how you go about getting computers to work for you. Someone off the street still needs to know how to express themselves correctly to get a result that's not crap. And they don't know what they don't

Well every subreddit is run by a small group of despots. So I would expect that's who they are talking about in a sense.

Go watch the launch of the metaverse and consider who would actually want to spend time and money there. Meta is trying to own vr like apple owns it's app store. But apple make a great set of products, that I don't like personall

Soon you'll all be fighting for your jobs. Many of you will be dying for your jobs. A few of you will be forced through a fine mesh screen for your jobs. They will be the luckiest of all. -- Zuck probably. I feel like 10K people are ta

You're talking about the gold standard, there's better things to do with gold. These crisis are like car crashes, they happen. But in the end, it's still fun to drive cars really fast, overloaded on wet, winding roads at twi

Yes, it's share holders who will realize the loss. Anyone owed money by the bank, ie depositors is now in a line to be paid as the FDIC sells everything and pays out the obligations.

I didn't say totally whole, i said largely whole. Everyone will get at least 250K, and then probably something like 75-85% of what ever else they had relatively quickly and then who knows.

There's strategic reasons to have those companies beyond they employ a stack of people. The US sees the big auto makers through they eyes of a country that needed at one point to start manufacturing around 100,000 bombers to fight in a

SVB probably has enough assets to make most depositors largely whole, but it'll take time. Shareholders are going to wear a total loss. Which sucks for them but this is part of share market game. I suspect cooler heads will not prevail

You see mods on reddit go on ego trip ban spree's all the time. It's classic 90's mod meltdown stuff. I don't think subscribing to a benevolent master is a good model. What happens if their gaze turns to you? Moderation
