I guess the argument would be that some companies are pushing- actively selling- the technology to PDs. My experience listening to the sales pitch by our sales team - of tech I helped develop; they would not only ignore the caveats attache

The general industrial/infrastructure landscape in Europe has changed a lot after 2008, the effects of that crisis gave China a chance to reach and establish itself in many places/industries that pre-crisis were out of reach to th

Thank you for sharing that link. Extremely powerful and insightful debate. It’s a rare occasion to see two arguments of the race debate next to each other in such a concentrated form.

Personally I have two issues with TS as it exists today. On the one hand I’m reticent to add a transpiler/compiler step between code and the runtime unless there is a very very compelling argument. On the other my perception of TS is t

There’s a general shortage. I just built a workstation using a Ryzen 9 3900x and it was very hard to find a compatible, sanely priced, current design and with a good enough spec. I was doing research first and then trying to buy the motherb

I tried to set up k3s with Ubuntu 18.04 when it came out for support for the pi and I couldn’t make it work. I forget right now the reasons but it had to do with a missing flag during the image build that precluded some memory management op

I never had that issue. But I had issues with native extensions often, a few years ago it occurred often enough that I would favor JS only if I could find an alternative. But I also avoid webpack because that always did break with updates,

You should check objection.js[1] as I think it would get you what you describe and probably more. It is a relational query builder built on top of knex, which is a query builder. [1] https://vincit.github.io/objection.js
