Maybe read “Lingua Latina Per Se Illustrata”. Forces you into that mode you were in earlier in your life. I found the experience enlightening.

Idk, but maybe you can experiment with an oxygen cylinder and one of those nose pieces they give to sick people. If that doesn't help, an oxygen concentrator might also not help. The experiment should be relatively inexpensive.

What good is it to get the principal back in 100 years ? If inflation stays between 2 and 3%, the principal would only be worth between 5 and 13% of what it is today. If inflation is between 4 and 5%, principal in 100 years would be worth b

To deepen the wonder, I'd be interested to see the longevity per material (PLA/Nylon/metal/...). I'd expect a lot of trial and error to deal with shrinkage and the probably high precision needed by the Selectric. Bu

In practice, what would be the difference? I'd imagine in almost all cases, one parent (likely dad?) wants to get out of child support. Mom will likely not consent, so it's the same or even worse.

OMG, what drama! But, it’s a really nice pen. I wonder whether the piston mechanism ever breaks, because unlike other lamys, this part can not be disassembled by a layman.

Similar story, but for Ultima Underworld, which managed to replace a unique item I needed for the final battles with something else (a torch?) while saving. I only noticed that happened AFTER all 4 save files were corrupted and never got to

Well, this wikipedia article mentions thin clients as lower end workstations. I would not call a computer with a single low performance core and 256 MB RAM a workstation either, but for a 4GB/8GB RPi 4, that term seems applicable.

That's a fair-ish point, but in practical terms, the printer is bricked until I pay up, whereas the phone is basically working with all free apps and web apps, which for many people is good enough. So it's a significant difference

People are less upset because Apple does not brick the phone when the user downloads an app they don't like. (they might in the future, but not today).
