Yeah, when I had to stop dancing--an activity that gives me a flow experience every day--for weeks because of a twisted foot tendon, I became a mess of anxiety, and even resorting to singing sessions wouldn't quite give me my "fix

I had thought about something similar for prose--when I'm writing I often get sentences or even paragraphs in my head ahead of time, so I want to have some easy 'capture blobs and arrange later' editor interface at some point

Thanks, I love to read about other people's workflows, especially when it's about something I also do. Can I get in touch with you once I have that shell script? It's very relevant functionality for something I'm working

I've begun doing that too and second integration with git. I wonder though, why don't you embed your journal within the git log? Relevant commits of mine accompany a journal entry that goes after the empty line in the commit messa

The amount of real state that Google ads seem to take these days is offensive, it's all ads above the fold and then some, on not-too-high resolutions. Google Search is due for replacement.

Wow, cool! Do you plan on making its guts available as a lib to be used under other frontends? I have a ClojureScript ncurses framework and would like to attempt a terminal editor, https://github.com/goldfeld/i9n

The reality is that most progress sits on the recklessness (or even callousness) of those willing to achieve it, and then carries over in the ensuing generations and we take all progress for granted as as inherently good. Probably the Chine

It's a growing problem, yes, but I see it as a different problem. Social media is by definition people. It's a culture/education problem, because people would spread it on messaging apps (like whatsapp) or even mouth to mouth

A terminal app in Clojure runs on the JVM, so it doesn't boot up as fast as ClojureScript on Node.js. It's most important for quick utilities or things that may be used in a pipe, but then if vim always took a full second to start

Your API opens up a lot of possibilities in my head too. Thanks for bestowing it upon the node community! The library I posted is a foundation layer on which I'm building a web browser for the terminal, but it's more in the style

Just like a retailer sprang up and took Amazon's lead in the ecommerce business, right? Right? Some corporations become too big to fail, like Google or Facebook--they keep buying off other companies and buying laws too. America is a lo
