This looks very interesting! I hope that maybe this project can include a “refactoring parser”, that is, for each token in the parse tree, store where in the source code file that token originated from. Also, white space and comments have w

JetBrains IDEs are very good indeed, and if they (or VSCode) work for you, you should use them. There's some features in these IDEs that are better than what's available with vim/tmux, and the other way around. In either case

Vim startup should be nearly instantaneous (<<1sec). If it’s not, something is broken. You can do `vim --startuptime profile.log` to find out what’s going wrong.

IDE’s don’t run in terminals, and the main benefits of terminals are consistency, power, and speed. Plus, at least in scientific computing, you generally have to develop and deploy code on remote workstations or HPC clusters, so an SSH-base

True! That's why there's enterprise certificates to make the process easier. Facebook just shouldn't have abused theirs for nefarious purposes!

It's not the only way to run internal apps: They can also install them through XCode. Also, the revokation was in no way arbitrary, but due to a grave violation of the terms under which the certificate was obtained.

As a theoretical physicist, the iPad can handle work-related tasks that the MacBook cannot (and vice versa). The unique iPad features mostly center around the Pencil: annotating papers, and doing "pen-and-paper" math, except that

I absolutely prefer to have a larger external screen, too. But if I'm traveling, and the choice is between my 13 inch Macbook Pro, or the 12.9 inch iPad Pro, I usually choose the iPad. With Blink in full screen, it's basically the
